Funny moment: Kelsey learning to tell jokes...Why did the elephant cross the street? To get to McDonald's! Hilarious laughter ensues...

Okay...here goes. I'm going to try once again to enter the world of blogging. I really need a great place to chronicle our family's amazing journey and store pictures (other than Facebook where no one really sees them anyway). Scott and Heather, you were my inspiration by the way. Your blog is very cute. I would really like to have music playing in the back ground someday. Does anyone know how to do that?

Anyway here's the latest update since it may have been a while since we've been in touch with many of you:

Tyler and I are celebrating our eighth anniversary today and spent the morning on a HOT date...our lastest Dave Ramsey class. We are currently enrolled in his Financial Peace University, which we LOVE!!! We are learning all about how to dig ourselves out of debt and strategize our finances, making money work for us instead of vice versa. It's such a great program. To check it out visit his website: www.daveramsey.com

We love being parents to our beautiful little ones. Kelsey is 6 1/2 and is a real dynamo. She loves school and is doing great with her reading and math. She is especially good at spelling. In fact, if you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, she'll tell you that she wants to spell. Wow! A professional speller. I think the world could really use a few of those, don't you?

Katie is in preschool and loves evry minute. She is a real motor-mouth and never really stops talking. She is independent, sometimes verging on the edge of impudent, but we sure love her fiery little personality. I'm sure it will serve her well in these last days. Katie loves to play dress-up and to help take care of little baby Macey.

Matthew is something else...100% BOY!!! He is so sweet and usually pretty content, but just wait until you rub him the wrong way. He'll let you know! He loves helicopters, doggies, cars, you know all that typical boy stuff. He is learning how to pitch a softball and boy can he hurl that thing!

Macey is our little pwincess and she basically runs this household. Though she sleeps well at night, our days are filled with coddling, rocking, nursing, bouncing, and cajoling. She is now smiling and developing a real fun personality (albeit a little divaesque). She fills our home with the Spirit and our hearts with love.
